DESCRIPTION:Organization Name: Stillpoint Mission Event: Stillpoint Mission Service Event We will be at the Stillpoint Mission distributing diapers to those in need. In addition\, as time permits we will may be asked to support the Mission in other activities such as packing food staples and helping hang and fold clothes for distribution. \n Event Date: November 4\, 2026Start Time: 8:30 AMEnd Time: 11:00 AM Carpool Departure Time: 7:45 AM Number of Attendees: 6 Who Can Attend: Members\, Prospective Members\, Spouses/Significant Others\, FriendsAdditional Information:  This will be our first time serving at Stillpoint Mission. Please wear comfortable\, casual clothes and closed to shoes. We will have carpooling\, but parking at Stillpoint will be at the lot across the street as clients use the parking area adjacent to the building. The mission staff would love to have at least one of our Volunteers be able to speak Spanish\, although this would not be a necessity as they have staff that could step in to help when needed. Optional carpool and Lunch will be coordinated with participants 1 week prior to the event via text. \nLunch Information:  Lunch after  our service will be 9 minutes away (North on 1st St.\, just across the Hernando DeSoto bridge) at 102 Riveria Dunes Way\, Palmetto Fl. It is located at the  Rivieria Dunes Marina. This restaurant gets great reviews! If it is a nice day we will sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful views. \nInformation About Charity: Stillpoint Mission reaches out to the disadvantaged in the community to meet their clients daily basic needs including food\, clothing\, diapers\, hygiene items\, and limited financial assistance for utility bills. The organization is 100% staffed by volunteers and receives no government assistance. They do not charge for their services and all donations go directly to their clients.
