We believe the Lake Club Women’s Giving Circle can provide meaningful financial support, community visibility, and connection to a powerful network of women who are committed to improving the lives of women and families in our community. Your partnership strengthens our credibility, expands our reach, and helps us build sustainable programs that empower women to heal, grow, and thrive.
What will the grant be used for?
The $3,500 grant will be used to support Second Chance Last Opportunity’s Women’s Empowerment and Safe Space Program serving women and families in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Funds will provide empowerment workbooks and materials, hygiene and self-care kits, safe space workshop supplies, transportation assistance for participants, and program evaluation tools to ensure meaningful and measurable outcomes.

What is the financial impact per individual/program this grant will provide?
This $3,500 grant will support approximately 60 women, 30 children, and 20 families across Sarasota and Manatee Counties, resulting in an estimated cost of $37 per individual served.
These funds will cover empowerment materials, hygiene and self-care kits, safe space supplies, transportation assistance, and program evaluation to ensure meaningful and measurable outcomes for participant
