What do you believe we can provide your organization?
The Lake Club Women’s Giving Circle provides more than funding; it brings community leadership, visibility, and advocacy. For CreArte Latino Cultural Center, a grant of up to $5,000 would have a meaningful and immediate impact.
Your support would help us remove barriers to access so more families can participate in our programs. A gift at this level can directly fund scholarships for children and youth to attend theater and music workshops, ensuring that cost is never the reason a child is left out of a transformative arts experience. It can also help underwrite free or reduced-cost tickets, allowing families to attend bilingual performances together, often for the first time, without financial strain.
Beyond direct program access, your investment strengthens something even larger: connection. CreArte exists to bridge cultures and generations through the arts, creating spaces where language is not a barrier but a shared experience. A grant helps sustain these spaces, supporting teaching artists, program materials, and community outreach that ensures we reach families who might otherwise remain disconnected.
Importantly, your giving also brings visibility and validation. As a women-led giving circle, your endorsement signals that this work matters, that cultural inclusion, education, and community-building are priorities worth investing in. That kind of leadership helps us grow our network of supporters and expand our impact.
In short, you provide more than dollars, you provide access, belonging, and momentum for a growing cultural organization that is serving more than 9,000 individuals each year.
What will the grant be used for?
The grant will be used to expand access to CreArte Latino’s arts education and community programming for families who face financial barriers.
Specifically, funds will support full and partial scholarships for children and youth to participate in bilingual theater and music workshops, where they build confidence, cultural pride, and communication skills. Support will also help subsidize tickets to performances so families can experience live theater together in an inclusive, bilingual setting.
A portion of the grant will contribute to program delivery costs, including materials, and supplies needed to maintain high-quality programming. These investments ensure that programs remain both accessible and artistically strong.
Together, this funding will allow CreArte to serve more participants while maintaining its commitment to affordability, cultural relevance, and community impact.

What is the financial impact per individual/program this grant will provide?
The average cost to serve one individual across CreArte Latino’s programs is approximately $75, including access to performances, educational workshops, and community engagement activities.
For youth programming, this translates into direct impact for children. A $5,000 grant would support approximately 67 children, providing them with access to arts education, materials, and opportunities to participate in culminating performances that build confidence and cultural connection.
Please provide the estimated number of women, children and families impacted.
Approximately 67 children in Sarasota and Manatee Counties will be directly served through this project. Their participation also extends impact to their families, who engage in performances, cultural activities, and shared learning experiences, creating a broader ripple effect of connection and community engagement.
