Thank you for your interest in the The Lake Club Women’s Charitable Foundation. We are always looking for organizations and programs throughout the Sarasota-Manatee area that need help. The Organization must have a location in Manatee and/or Sarasota County.
To apply for a grant, please submit the completed grant application form that summarizes your non-profit and illustrates how a grant from TLC Women’s Charitable Foundation will make an immediate, direct impact to a specific project or cause. You will also need to provide documentation verifying your organization’s nonprofit status.
Our granting process occurs twice a year. Organizations must submit a new application for each grant cycle to be considered. Applications are reviewed semi-annually, with submission deadlines on March 31 and October 31 of each calendar year. Grant awards will be made within two months following each deadline, and recipients will be notified via email.
Here is an overview of how our grant process works:
TLC Women’s Charitable Foundation accepts unsolicited proposals for a variety of programs and causes. However, we do not provide grants to support:
- Capital improvements, Salaries, or Administrative costs
- Promoting a religious ideology
- Galas
- Advertising
- Other Special fundraising events
Please note that religious organizations may apply for funding if their proposed project serves the entire community and is not religious in nature. Our organization’s grant funds may not be used for religious activities, including but not limited to proselytizing, worship, or religious instruction.

- Please provide information in the message box as to how else TLC Women’s Charitable Foundation could provide assistance for a particular event or program.
- TLC Women’s Charitable Foundation reserves the right to request documentation in support of the expenditures for the amount granted.
Grant Award Policy
We welcome organizations to apply in both of our grant cycles each year. However, please note that each organization may only receive one grant award per calendar year.
