Registration fees for fundraising events, galas, social gatherings, and other Foundation-sponsored activities may be subject to event-specific cancellation and refund policies.

If you are unable to attend an event, please notify The Lake Club Women’s Charitable Foundation as soon as possible.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, cancellations received fewer than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled event are generally not eligible for a refund due to contractual commitments for venue, catering, entertainment, and other event-related expenses incurred by the Foundation.

When appropriate and at the Foundation’s sole discretion, a registrant may be offered the option to:

• Convert the registration fee into a charitable donation (to the extent permitted by applicable law);
• Transfer the registration to another individual, if permitted for that event; or
• Receive another accommodation deemed appropriate by the Foundation.

The Foundation reserves the right to make exceptions in extraordinary circumstances. Any approved exception is granted solely at the Foundation’s discretion and shall not establish a precedent for future requests.

If the Foundation cancels an event, registered participants will be notified promptly. Depending on the circumstances, participants may be offered a full refund, the opportunity to transfer their registration to a rescheduled event, or the option to convert their registration fee into a charitable donation.
