Come join us in bringing joy to children who have lost a loved one in their lives. We will be wrapping gifts for children that have been generously donated to the Blue Butterfly Family Grief Program. Clinical mental health professionals support grieving children and teens to help children feel safe and manage their grief. Part of the Blue Butterfly support is hosting a holiday party with food and gifts for the children.

Our service and contribution is to help wrap the gifts for the holiday party. On December 7th, there will be a morning and afternoon session for you to help. If you are so inclined, please bring along some wrapping paper and bows. Less than a 15 minute drive from The Lake Club.

Please note this event has a morning and afternoon session, this registration is for the morning session. Please sign up for the session you prefer. We need 20 total volunteers, 10 for each session.
Optional carpool and lunch reservations will be coordinated via text with all participants 1 week prior to event. Parking at Libby’s is plentiful, parking at Blue Butterfly is limited so optional carpooling is recommended,
Wear casual, comfortable clothes. Volunteers will be able to sit while wrapping.

Information About Charity:

Blue Butterfly Children’s Grief Care is a program within Empath Health Tidewell Hospice. Blue Butterfly’s mission is to serve children ages 5-18 and their caregivers by providing a safe space to grieve and process after a significant death in their lives. Empath Tidewell Hospice is a not-for-profit integrated network of care across the country.
