How was the money used?
Covered 6 group therapy sessions for a group of special education students from Beyond The Spectrum.
Was there an unexpected benefit or a special outcome from this grant that you would like to share? Yes
If yes, please explain:
The students and the staff loved each and every session. These students, with varying abilities, were able to practice communication skills, problem solving and a variety of executive functioning skills all while in a calming and motivating environment. They can’t to resume sessions this upcoming school year.
