How was the money used?

The TLCWGC grant of $2,500 for Pines of Sarasota Foundation’s 2024 Mission Fund has helped sustain Pines of Sarasota’s ability to continue to care for precious seniors who have outlived their financial resources. You generously helped ensure Pines was able to continue to provide care for 100% of its Medicaid-reliant residents.

Was there an unexpected benefit or a special outcome from this grant that you would like to share? Yes

One of the most wonderful and unexpected outcomes of this grant was the opportunity to connect with the incredible women of the TLCWCC. We are excited for your upcoming visit to the Pines, allowing us to share firsthand the impact of the Mission Fund and the compassionate care we provide to our residents.

The impact of your generous support for the Mission Fund is truly immeasurable. Every day, more than 60% of Pines skilled nursing residents rely on Medicaid to cover their care. Contributions to the Mission Fund bridge this gap, ensuring that our residents continue to receive the care they need without interruption. Your gift has provided invaluable peace of mind to our residents and their families, knowing they can remain in the place they call home, with the care, dignity, and compassion they deserve.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership and the profound difference you’ve made in the lives of those we serve.
