How was the money used?
Funds from the Lakeview Giving Circle were used to provide the Mr. Stevey & Friends program to families in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. The free program features Mr. Stevey hosting a day of activities that features arts activities from 2 teaching artists, free books, giveaways, and lunch for all attendees.

Last year’s program saw a significant impact, with highlights listed below (a full pdf impact report is available upon request):
300 families were served, with over 750 people participating. 70% of families attended more than once.
100% of parent/caregivers stated they learned new ways to support their child’s creativity and wellness at home.
99% intended to use the strategies they learned at home.
94% of repeat parents/caregivers stated their child has demonstrated the use of mindfulness strategies at home
100% of participants would recommend the program to a friend.
