How was the money used?

Thanks to the generosity of your gift, 10 children between the ages of 5 and 10 were able to participate in our Summer 2025 full-day youth enrichment camps, completely free of charge. These scholarships provided multiple weeks of engaging, hands-on learning experiences that the children (and their families) might not otherwise have been able to access. We recognize the importance of quality, summer learning opportunities for children, and your grant made it possible to provide these opportunities to families in need.

Was there an unexpected benefit or a special outcome from this grant that you would like to share? Yes

If yes, please explain:

One family shared that, without the scholarship, attending camp would not have been possible. When the father, who would have been the children’s daytime caregiver, was unexpectedly injured, the scholarship provided more than just access to enrichment. It offered peace of mind, allowing him the time he needed to recover while knowing his children were safe, engaged, and learning in a supportive environment.
