How was the money used?

The funds provided materials and fees associated with educational programs geared towards high risk youth that attend teen court in circuit 12 and to a boys mentorship program in Sarasota .

Was there an unexpected benefit or a special outcome from this grant that you would like to share? Yes

If yes, please explain:

Several youth have given feedback via surveys and conversations stating that the knowledge they gained through DM4 had been instrumental in their ability to remain safe from exploitation and harm and some have utilized self regulation tools to prevent them from making the wrong choices

How many people were impacted by this grant?

Approximately 300 youth

Please indicate the number of women, children, and/or families residing in Sarasota and/or Manatee County who were directly impacted by this grant.

300 primarily teen boys and some girls . Also adult women in recovery .

Do you have any suggestions to improve our grant process.

I think it’s an excellent program but there was some miscommunication with the Manatee community foundation . However all was worked out with the assistance of the LWR women’s giving circle !
